This action will turn the heart icon green, signifying your like. Importantly, these likes are kept private, visible only to the status owner, ensuring privacy for all users.

Directly Engage with Mentions

The inclusion of mentions adds another layer of interactivity, allowing users to directly address specific individuals in their status updates. Similar to likes, mentions are also private, with only the tagged users able to see the tag, preventing privacy concerns for the status owner.
